I mean, what good is all that water if you can’t even drink it?!!! Mr B is so adorable, with his long tail following along like an undulating afterthought!

Do you go to non-salt water ponds, and does he drink the “OK” water?

I can’t find a fresh lake to visit that I am completely sure has no alligators. But as far as water goes, he will drink (or at least sample) from puddles on the street.
