I had been wondering what adventures that little golden boy had been up to lately! He has grown so much already!! I was giggling and welling up watching this! Especially that moment at 1:02 where he trots right in, daring the water to do something! Haha, I think he’s going to be one of those dogs that will be hard to keep OUT of the water. Just watch out for the gators!! Bartleby is looking beautiful already. I think it’s totally normal behavior, running after a puppy with a cell phone! :) Glad you did!

I’m not yet well acquainted with Retrievers as a breed, but I suppose they do (and B. will) take to water. He hasn’t actually plunged in yet, and is even more wary of salt water. (I just bought a puppy pool but haven’t set it up yet.) This brand new universe he is experiencing right now is so immense, but he is tackling it one step at a time, with the confidence of youth. I love introducing him to new things.
