Two days before Milton swept over St. Petersburg & the barrier islands we evacuated to Lakeland where his littermate “Thomas” resides with my sister. The assumption was that the hurricane would drift up the State but instead it followed us inland.
No matter. We escaped damage.
The problem was that we had kept Bartleby & Thomas apart for the past 6 months because their “play” would go from rowdy to out-of-control in a heartbeat, and they would end up – well, fighting like brothers.
But this time we nicely managed their reintroduction by using adjacent crates until they learned to play nice.
Well, they got along reasonably well out in the yard but inside we still had to schedule alternate periods of crate time with only one roaming free at a time.
Mr. B. was in toy heaven and loved every minute of our 8 day “vacation.”

Glad you’re both okay! Any damage to your place in St. Pete? Joy

No damage, just general messiness. Thanks!

Good to hear you both are okay. Poor Bartleby probably couldn’t understand why you’re not taking him out to play in that “awesome” rainstorm!!! Wow, that collection of toys might be even better!

There were plenty of dry days after the storm, and they got a lot of play time together in the back yard. Thanks for watching.

PS: Loved the intro with the TV, rain on window, toys … very efficient straight to the story!
